Additive technologies are actively reclaiming their place in the field of mass production, leaving the well-established experimental niche in engineering laboratories, startups, and R&D. Although additive manufacturing is entering the phase of industrial maturity, discussions about overcoming the barriers to the advancement of additive technologies are ongoing, with the lack of a unified regulatory framework being a major concern. Additive technologies can create unique and complex products, but the absence of standards makes it difficult to certify, control quality, and widely adopt them in critical industries. Nevertheless, the additive technology market is growing both globally and in Russia, as evidenced by various studies.
