CO2 Laser: Flexible, Reliable and Approved Device Initially CO2-lasers thanks to their reliability, profitability and security proved to be a “workhorse” for industrial macroapplications. With the origin of diffusion cooling technology it became possible to increase CO2-slab-lasers power up to 8kW and CO2-lasers penetrated the whole range of laser industrial applications. The second part of this survey is devoted to the performance of laser dicing and welding.

Tunable Single-Frequency Semiconductor Lasers Lasers for communication links with channel wavelength-division multiplexing are presented. Single-frequency lasers with distributed Bragg mirrors successfully combine capability to generate narrow line (not more then 10kHz) emission and dynamic stable operation mode. Temperature methods for smooth and discrete emission wavelength tuning in the 635 to 1650nm range are discusse.

In this article investigation of optical properties of silver nanoclusters that were obtained in the process of their clustering relations dependence on their structure and concentration are presented.

Reactive surface layers of internal elements adsorb gases, that latter begin to excrete. Some times it is difficult to separate internal gassing from the atmospheric gases in leakage that gives evidence of GD airtightness upset. This article describes a spectral analysis method that permits to separate these two processes.
